About the role
Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI) manufactures machined parts and assemblies for the commercial and military aerospace industries. Level one machinists are expected to load and unload parts for the operation of 3-5 axis CNC mill and lathe machine cells. These individuals work under direct supervision in order to produce complex machined aerospace parts.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload parts for the operation of 3-5 axis CNC mill and lathe machine cells
- Work under direct supervision to produce complex machined aerospace parts
- Perform in-process inspection of machined product, requiring basic competencies in shop math, hand measuring tools and documentation
- Perform basic preventative machine maintenance, including checking and adjusting coolant and lube levels and maintaining area cleanliness
- Perform some deburr operations
