Internship Details

• Tentative start date in October (8-week program).
• Paid internship at $25/hour.
• 40 hours/week for 8 weeks.
• Opportunity for full-time employment after successful completion.

Full-Time Employment Opportunities

Anticipated full-time positions may include the following shifts:

• Days (A shift): Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm.
• Evenings (B shift): Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am.
• Weekend Days (C shift): Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm.
• Weekend Nights (D shift): Friday - Sunday, 6:00pm - 6:00am.

Full-Time Benefits

• Competitive Hourly Rate: Starting at $35.0748/hour with progression based on skills obtained through additional training.
• Shift Differentials: Evening/Night shifts include a 10% bonus; Weekend shifts include a 10% differential, with Weekend nights also including a 10% bonus.
• Paid Time: C&D shifts are paid for 40 hours/week but only require 36 hours of work.
• Compressed Schedule: Three or four-day compressed work weeks available.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Training/work location is at GE Vernova Bangor.

Pay

The starting pay for this internship is $25.00/hour. Eligible for a 10% Night Shift Bonus (NSB).
