About the role

Machinists III are responsible for operating various machine tools to fabricate parts and assemblies. They perform precision measurements and inspect workpieces using measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts and assemblies.
• Perform precision measurements and inspect workpieces using measuring instruments.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• May assist in the setup and operation of more complex machinery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in machining or a similar field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machines and/or manual machining tools.
• Knowledge of quality control and inspection processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Skills

• Proficient in using various types of measuring equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
