About PCB Piezotronics

PCB manufactures sensors used by design engineers and predictive maintenance professionals to test and measure vibration, pressure, force, acoustics, load and shock for test, measurement, monitoring and control requirements. Our sensors support testing in aerospace and defense, automotive, transportation, civil engineering, and general R&D industries. PCB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Work from drawings and/or written instructions to operate manual or CNC machinery and equipment to produce precision parts under direct supervision.
  • Verify conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to tolerance and company specifications.
  • Identify dull or worn inserts or tools.
  • Make tool offsets under supervision.
  • Aware of required preventative maintenance.
  • Learn to perform in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.

  • Basic mechanical ability
  • General knowledge of CNC/Manual machines

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications: Basic shop math skills, basic blueprint reading skills, basic mechanical ability, general knowledge of CNC/Manual machines.
  • Preferred qualifications: Machine shop experience, demonstrated problem-solving skills, demonstrated experience in order of operations, ability to apply concepts of trigonometry, inspection measuring equipment exposure and/or knowledge.
