About the role
Advanced Atomization Technologies (AA TECH) is a joint venture between Parker Aerospace and GE Aviation, dedicated to producing and supporting advanced fuel nozzles and related products for various engine platforms. The company's highly skilled team specializes in design, assembly, testing, and aftermarket support, offering a world-class product and service experience.
Responsibilities
- Sets up and runs production machines according to blueprints, sketches, and route sheets.
- Operates machines to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reaming parts.
- Adjusts feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to ensure quality parts are produced.
- Accurately and regularly performs statistical process control (SPC) as required by division standards.
- Participates in lean initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, and/or completion of a Machinist Certificate program preferred.
- 1-3 years related machining experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics, including trigonometry.
- CNC and/or manual machining experience, and experience making tool/work offsets.
- Set-up experience, reading/editing G/M-code, and experience with a FANUC control a plus.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as comparators, micrometers, calipers, pin/wire gauges, etc.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Machinist Certificate program preferred.
- 1-3 years related machining experience preferred.

Schedule
- 1st shift: 6:30am-2:30pm
- 2nd shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm
- 3rd shift: 10:30pm-6:30am
