CNC Machinist Operator, 1st and 2nd shift

Wilo is a leading manufacturer of pumps & pump systems for heating, cooling & air-conditioning solutions, water supply, and sewage & drainage. Wilo USA has acquired Weil Pump, Scot Pump, American-Marsh Pumps, QuantumFlo, and Plad between 2017 and 2023.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday
• 2nd shift: 3:30 pm – 2:00 am, Monday–Thursday

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned work center to current production and quality standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work from verbal instructions.
• Learn applicable inspection / measurement equipment: micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Knowledge of various tools and equipment.
• Responsible for verification and documentation of part dimensions and tolerances as required for quality.
• Visually inspect parts for surface details and machining finishes with close attention to detail.
• Knowledge of general shop math.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Perform general upkeep and preventative maintenance on assigned work center.
• Work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 5 years machining experience
• Ability to do machine set-up
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Eagerness to learn is essential
• Detail oriented
