Machine Operation

  • Safely load, run, and unload production parts on CNC machines according to set parameters.
  • Assist with or perform basic machine set-ups, including changing fixtures and tooling under supervision.
  • Maintain work areas clean.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance parts to senior staff.

Quality Inspection

  • Measure parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers) to ensure they meet exact blueprint specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 0–3 years of hands-on CNC operating experience.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with G-code and basic offsets is a plus.
  • Tools: Experience using basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; vocational or technical certification in machining is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work well in a team is important. Attention to detail. Good problem-solving skills. Good communication skills.
