Machinist

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform all Machine Operator functions
• Perform job assignments on manual and/or CNC/NC machines
• Absorb and perform set-ups, offsets, and tool changes on both assigned machines and Operator-run machines
• Ensure production of quality products through inspection, measurement, testing, and deburring of manufactured components/assemblies
• Follow Quality Policy, quality system requirements, and work instructions, including any additional customer requirements
• Contribute to achieving Quality Objectives results in their work area
• Adhere to company safety and environmental procedures and practices
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• May perform and assist in scheduled preventive maintenance
• Perform other tasks and follow written/verbal direction from supervisor or manager

Physical Requirements

• Frequent performing repetitive work
• Occasional lifting (max. 40 lbs.)
• Occasional carrying (max. 40 lbs.)
• Constant safety glasses
• Constant full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Frequent standing
• Occasional sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of machinist experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude towards teamwork and learning
