About the role
Massman Companies is hiring for two Machinist positions at our ADCO site in Sanger, CA. This is a great opportunity with benefits and vacation pay.
Schedule
- Day shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm, 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday
- Night shift: 2:30pm – 1:00am, 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday
- All training will happen during the day shift.
Responsibilities
- Support production operations by fabricating and assembling moderately complex parts and components
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints
- Set up equipment
- Ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience; technical certificate in fabrication/welding is a plus
- 2 years minimum of related fabrication or shop experience preferred
Skills
- Proficiency with fabrication equipment and tools
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measuring devices
- Understanding of welding, cutting, and metal finishing processes
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
Physical demands and work environment
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to moderate noise and potentially hazardous equipment, with required use of protective gear
