Machinist

About the role

The self-motivated candidate performs machine work on CNC Milling, Drilling, Boring Machines and/or CNC lathes. Must be able to set machine up and run proficiently upon completed training. Be able to edit new and existing programs as needed and actively contribute to quality initiatives to increase productivity and gain efficiencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of two-year related trade school training
• Three to five years of job-related experience
• Physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blue prints, micrometer, calipers and other standard measuring equipment

Skills

• Proficient in setting up and running CNC Milling, Drilling, Boring Machines and/or CNC lathes
• Ability to edit and maintain machine programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to contribute to quality initiatives

Benefits

Yearly Profit Share Plan. Paid out the last 4 out of 5 years, including 22% on base and overtime wages in 2024 and 2025. Performance evaluations are completed every 90 days and eligible for a pay increase based on performance at 90, 180, 270. The current maximum is $32.50/hour.

Pay

The current maximum is $32.50/hour.
