Machinist (2nd Shift) - Tool & Die

About the role

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Machinist (2nd Shift) - Tool & Die to join the team in Reno, NV. The position involves machining, tool and die maintenance, die changeovers, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Able to determine and assess damage to existing tooling and what steps necessary to repair tooling.
• Able to determine if Die is dull or cracked and needs to be resharpened or repaired.
• Able to determine if the poor quality of a product is the result of a tooling problem, or a setup problem.
• Able to Perform Die Changeovers for different products.
• Read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, and tape measure for checking dimensions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years machining experience and skilled in the operation of lathes, grinding machines, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders.
• Minimum of three (3) years
