Schedule
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Overtime available
Pay
Weekly and competitive pay, plus overtime and benefits including 401k (available from day one).
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes, Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs), and Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, work offsets, and first-piece inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
- Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring tools
- Make tooling and program adjustments to maintain quality and production standards
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and implement corrective actions
- Monitor tooling performance and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Accurately complete production, inspection, and quality documentation
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet customer expectations and delivery schedules
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Experience setting up and operating CNC Lathes, HMCs, and/or VMCs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T callouts
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to hold tight tolerances; aerospace-level experience preferred
- Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, speeds, and feeds
- Ability to diagnose machining issues and make independent process adjustments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependable attendance and a strong safety mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, Okuma, Makino, Mori Seiki, or similar controls
- Multi-axis machining experience (4-axis/5-axis)
- CNC programming or G-code editing experience
- CAM software experience
- Technical machining education or apprenticeship background
