What You Will Do
Awesome Opportunity on the weekend shift in the Machining Department. Weekend shift hours are 5:00am - 5:30pm - Friday-Sunday - work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours. Candidates selected for this position can expect to train on 1st shift hours for 4 to 6 months before going to assigned shift.
Set up and operate NC milling machines, vertical turret lathes or VTC’s to perform routine production operations on a variety of similar weldments and assemblies.
- Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to set up equipment for turning, facing, boring and chamfering operations involving a limited number of surfaces to be machined.
- Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain Operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts.
- Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
- Work with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel or others to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development.
- May be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have
- A High School diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions.
- Ability to set up machines, troubleshoot, do standard walk-arounds and inspect own work.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $18.30-$34.40 . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
