About the role
Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. We are seeking CNC Machine Operators to support our Pendleton, SC manufacturing facility on Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday, 6 am to 6 pm).
Responsibilities
- Follow written process and operate a variety of CNC machines and special processes
- Receive work order and verify components are correct
- Receive material and load onto bar feeder
- Perform and record line clearance
- Verify machine is running the correct program
- Deburr parts as required
- Measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Interact in a Manufacturing environment with a variety of personnel and shift changeover on a daily basis
- Confirm that inspection process is kept at AQLS C=0
- Sort/rework parts as required
- Assist out on other operations as required
- Data entry in SAP system
- Show exceptional teamwork and interact in a Manufacturing environment with a variety of personnel and shift changeover on a daily basis
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety procedures
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately
- Perform first cut-off
- Returns all axis to the home position
- Stops machine to change settings, replace tools and perform tool offsets
- Recommends process improvements with supervisor or programming personnel to resolve problems
Requirements
- CNC MO I: High School Diploma or equivalent AND 6 months of direct CNC experience
- CNC MO II: High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2 years of direct CNC machine experience
- CNC MO III: High School Diploma or equivalent AND 4 years of direct CNC machine experience
Qualifications

- Attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy, basic math skills
- Advanced computer literacy
- Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Multi axis Swiss lathes, Lathes, Milling machining centers, Grinders, EDM
Skills
- Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
