Machining Blade Manufacturing - Metal Worker 1st shift

About the role

As a Metal Worker in our Blade Manufacturing group, you will support the repair and production of critical aerospace components. This role involves blending, polishing, modifying metal parts to precise specifications, setting up and using tools, fixtures, and production equipment, following production instructions and quality requirements, and supporting lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Blend, polish, and modify metal parts to required specifications
• Set up and use tools, fixtures, and production equipment
• Mix and prepare production materials as required
• Follow production instructions and quality requirements to ensure parts meet specifications
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards in the work area
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to support repair and manufacturing operations
• Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with other production-related tasks as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred. Metalworking or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Comfortable working with hand tools, machinery, and production equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
