Machinery Mover / Mechanic / Welder / Laborer

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated expertise in operating and maintaining industrial machinery, with a strong capacity for identifying and resolving technical issues.
• A quick learner with the ability to utilize standard methodologies and tools to effectively solve problems.
• Proficiency in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment/machinery, employing various tools and equipment such as lifts, cranes, hoists, and both hand and power tools.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in MIG and stick welding is essential.
• Additional experience in TIG welding and brazing will be advantageous.
• Skilled in carbon arc gouging and torch cutting.
• Knowledgeable in techniques involving pre-heat, post-heat, and use of dual shielded wire.
• Experience in welding large, heavy, fabricated assemblies is critical.
• Prior experience with track burners will be considered an asset.
• Competency in using all forms of hand tools and power tools is beneficial.
• The ideal candidate should possess a Class C driver's license, demonstrate independent problem-solving skills, and exhibit a strong commitment to quality work.
