Mechanic/Oiler/Welder

About the role

We take on the biggest, most complex mass excavation projects from San Diego to LA with our large fleet of earth moving equipment. We are looking to add more exceptional Mechanics, Welders and Oiler helpers to help us keep our fleet in peak performance and condition so we can continue to exceed our client’s expectations. Must have at least 5 years’ experience in this field of work. Huge benefit if you have your own tool kit, Class B Driver’s License and Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and advises in the selection of parts and equipment and organize appropriate repair procedures
• Disassemble and assemble machines/components. Recondition/repair as required
• Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees
• Perform moderately complex welding processes such as arc welding, gas welding, aluminum welding, brazing on a variety of materials
• Perform related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal
• Performing detailed equipment servicing including fluid checks and changes, greasing and preventative maintenance services
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company Policies / OSHA Standards
• Safely working around heavy equipment in production settings
• Communicating with others including operators and managers
