Machine Test & Validation Engineer

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Machine Test & Validation Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ.

About the role

Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment. Validate the functionality of software and controls features, including requirements execution and system-level testing. Collaborate closely with mechanics, instrumentation technicians, and operators. Plan, execute, and document machine-level software testing. Approximately 20% office-based and 80% hands-on in the shop or local field.

• Plan, execute, and document machine-level software testing

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience (internship experience accepted)
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; 2-year degrees not accepted
• Comparable backgrounds considered: mechanic, construction, or landscaping experience
• Attention to detail, communication, and teamwork
• Troubleshooting (required)
• Data acquisition (desired)

Qualifications

Hands-on experience working around heavy equipment, in construction, or on mechanical projects (e.g., cars). Experience with planning, executing, and documenting technical work, including data acquisition. Exposure to project management or directing day-to-day work with a team is a plus.
