Machine Technician I - 3rd Shift

About the role

The Machine Technician I is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment. They ensure equipment is running efficiently and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Document all work performed and report any issues to supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing setting
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Proficient in using common tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems
• Understanding of mechanical principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
