Machine Technician

Responsibilities

• Operates line equipment and trains production personnel on proper operation.
• Maintains and repairs packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitors production quality and troubleshoots operational issues.
• Conducts root cause analysis and implements countermeasures to resolve production problems.
• Improves production performance by simplifying work processes.
• Assists other Machine Technicians with changeovers and routine maintenance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in production maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hand and power tools, maintenance manuals, and basic electrical and pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety rules and regulations.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate and assemble small objects and machinery.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of operational procedures.
• Knowledge of quality standards and ability to inspect components visually.
• Ability to stoop, crouch, kneel, and lift up to 60 pounds.

Pay and Schedule

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours: 12 hours/day, Thursday - Saturday (36 hours/week).
• Work schedule: 5:50 AM - 6:20 PM.
• Shift differential.
• Pay weekly.
