Machine Technician 2nd shift

Job Summary

The Machine Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing machinery and mechanical equipment. This role ensures that production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to support manufacturing schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment (e.g., conveyors, CNC machines, hydraulics, robotics, packaging equipment).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues and implement timely solutions.
• Set up, test, calibrate, and validate machines according to specifications.
• Inspect and adjust machines during production runs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Record maintenance and repair activities using work order systems or logs.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and quality control to improve equipment efficiency and reduce defects.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.
• Recommend improvements for preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), with overtime as needed.

Pay

$27.00 per hour.
