Machine Shop Production Worker-2nd Shift

Location – Avon Lake, OH

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

About the role

Watteredge is looking for a dependable, motivated 2nd Shift Production Worker to join our Machine Shop team in Avon Lake, Ohio. This is a hands‑on manufacturing position where you’ll support daily production by loading and unloading parts, deburring, bending, finishing, and handling materials. If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, handle, and move parts and materials throughout the Machine Shop.
• Perform deburring, bending, grinding, polishing, and other finishing operations.
• Operate production equipment and hand tools according to work instructions, prints, and specifications.
• Produce parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Read and follow production instructions, procedures, and basic engineering documentation.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Inspect equipment before use and perform routine adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment, machinery, and noise.
