Machine Setter/Changeover Technician

About the role

The Machine Setter/Changeover Technician is responsible for setting up and adjusting machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency. This role also involves performing changeovers between different product runs to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machinery to meet production requirements
• Perform changeovers between different product runs to minimize downtime
• Monitor machine performance and report any issues to supervisors
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles and equipment operation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Skills

• Proficiency in using various types of machinery and tools

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
