Machine Set-Up Operator 2nd shift

The Machine Set-Up Operator role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, troubleshooting, and operating production equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and changeovers according to production schedules.
• Configure equipment settings, tooling, and machine parameter.
• Verify machine readiness prior to production startup.
• Operate production equipment to meet production schedule after setup completion.
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues following standard operating procedures.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment checks, including but not limited to performance lubrication, cleaning, adjustments and minor part replacement.
• Complete required production, quality, and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to read technical drawings including but not limited too: product specifications, material specifications, workers orders.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
• Communicate equipment issues, downtime, or production concerns.
• Maintain compliance with safety and operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Train others as directed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Frequent bending, reaching and repetitive hand movements

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years associates degree preferred
• Experience with braiders, coilers, laser welders, oven and reflow machines preferred

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $24.00 $27.00 + shift differential. The posted hourly range complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as market conditions, level of experience and training, education, certifications, as well as internal and external equity.

Schedule

This position requires the employee to be onsite at our VitalPath Maplewood, MN location. Shift/Schedule: Second Shift MondayThursday 3:00pm1:30am
