Machine Repair - Journeyman

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Rate up to $36/Hr
• Understand the operation of and be able to troubleshoot and repair axis and spindle drives, both mechanically and electrically.
• Be capable of trouble shooting and repairing of all machines in the following areas, but not limited to:
• Bevel gear cutting machines
• Grinders
• Gear Grinders
• Machining Centers
• Heat Treat equipment
• Turning Machines
• Gear Hobbers
• Gear Shapers
• and all specialty machine areas.
• Assist OEM representatives in the setup and alignment of new equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per standard operating procedures.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement.

Experience

Journeyman - Applicants must have a journeyman card or have eight (8) years of documented experience in this trade.
