About the role
Energetic, highly motivated individuals with mechanical aptitude are needed to help produce the highest quality spark plugs in the world. This role involves setting up, repairing, operating, and supplying equipment to assemble ignition products and components in the Burlington, Iowa facility.
Responsibilities
- Set up, repair, operate, and supply equipment to assemble ignition products and components.
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Available for all shifts including a weekend shift.
- Mandatory overtime is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- Manufacturing or mechanical related experience or two years of post-high school technical education preferred.
- Pre-employment physical and drug-screen required.

Pay
- There is a 6-month progression for wages.
- For all newly hired associates, the wage rate will follow a progression schedule as follows:
- 0 – 6 months: 90% of top wage for the job
- After 6 months: 100%
- Top rate for the Machine Operator / Machine Technician position: Approximately $22.00
- Those assigned to 2nd shift are eligible for a $0.65/hour shift premium, those assigned to 3rd shift are eligible for a $0.65/hour shift premium, and those assigned to a weekend shift are eligible for a higher rate of pay per hour.
- Additionally, there is a $1000 new hire bonus – paid $250 each 3 months with the team.
