Machine Operators
About the role
Deerfield Packaging is seeking self-motivated individuals for various machine operation positions. Shifts are 12 hours long and operate from 6 PM to 6 AM. A shift differential is offered for the 6 PM to 6 AM shift.
Responsibilities
- Keep thorough and accurate paperwork as required
- Work at consistent speed and productivity in a fast-paced environment
- Show close attention to detail
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and wear all personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Comply with attendance policy
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing/industrial facility preferred
- Manufacturing experience a plus but not required
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time

- Written and verbal English communication skills
