Machine Operator – Wire Presser (1st Shift)

About the role

Location: Moncks Corner, SC. Duration: 12 months. Employment type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens or GC holders only). Client: Medical Device Company. Shift: 1st Shift, Monday‑Thursday, 9 am‑7 pm. Weekly hours: 40. Pay range: $16‑20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMPs and ISO9000.
• Works effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
• Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements.
• Follows instructions and works within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required.
• Works under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Entry level position requiring 2+ years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Effective communication skills understandable to co‑workers and Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work regularly and punctually.
• Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
