Machine Operator/ WaterJet Ultrasonic Operator 3rd shift

3rd shift (Sunday-Friday, 10:30pm - 7:00am)

About the Role

Under the direction of the Supervisor/Group Leader, the incumbent will perform several operations such as Waterjet cutting, ultrasonic testing, and scrap recycling while maintaining quality of product.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains the Water Jet Cutter and associated support systems.
• Operates and maintains the Ultrasonic Test tank and associated support systems.
• Supports operations in Mill Products and Fabrication as required.
• Maintains all required logs associated with the WJC/UT.
• Performs minor equipment repair and adjustments.
• Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains high quality standards.

Requirements

• Requires high school or vocational degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Metal working experience is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of decimals, fractions, and measuring equipment is essential.
• The candidate must qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee, a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction (ITAR/EAR).

Pay

Pay Range: $23.76 - $29.35. Actual base salary offered varies based on factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
