Responsibilities
- Improves search results delivery by autocompleting queries based on user input (CGIC)
- Remembers user preferences like language, search results per page, and SafeSearch settings (Secure-YEC, _Secure-ENID)
- Downloads certain Google Tools and saves preferences (SIDCC, SSID, SAPISID)
- Tracks user activity and ad campaign performance for advertisers (DSID, AdID)
- Ensures secure and efficient user sessions (SID, LSID, OSID)
- Prevents fraudulent login attempts (G_AUTHUSER_H)
- Monitors and aggregates website visitor data (HSID, FPGCLDC)
- Links user activity across devices (TAID)
Requirements
Experience with web analytics tools, familiarity with user behavior tracking, and knowledge of privacy regulations are required.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of cookies and their functions
- Knowledge of Google AdSense and AdWords
- Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
- Familiarity with user behavior tracking and privacy regulations
Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript and related technologies
- Experience with server-side scripting languages
