Machine Operator - Saalfield 1st Shift

About the role

Responsible for operating machinery to produce goods in a manufacturing setting. Duties include monitoring equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Monitor production processes and adjust settings as necessary
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure product meets specifications
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production issues and improvements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for some positions)

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using common manufacturing tools and machines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
