Machine Operator- Print & Bindery Experience

Duties

• Operate and monitor printing presses, ensuring quality control throughout the production process.
• Conduct prepress tasks, including layout design and color management to prepare materials for printing.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to understand project specifications and deliver high-quality printed materials.
• Utilize CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping of materials as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Absorb and train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Print and Bindery Operator experience.
• Independent problem solving skill.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to collect and report variable data during production operation.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Project Ticket procedural requirements, documentation, and closure steps.
• Applicable machine computer skills.
• Ability to understand and meet customer (internal and external) expectations.
• Ability to set up and maintain accurate placement of inkjet text at designated print position.
• Pass OJT qualification review check after each machine operation procedural training steps are complete.
