Machine Operator - Night Shift
About the role
The role involves manufacturing high-quality, low-cost pipe according to specified manufacturing sheets, adhering to NOV quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operates winding machine
- Runs DSC machine
- Extracts material using extractor cart
- Uses impact gun
- Operates mix station
- Understands and applies specifications to machine setup and product
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Completes tasks as per manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision
- Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Complies with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand pressure gauges
- Ability to read labels on pipe and specifications
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Good vision required for safe operation of forklift
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Pushing/pulling up to 12 hours daily
- Assists where and when needed
- Utilizes recommended safe work habits and safety equipment
- Absorbs and assists with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak English preferred
