Machine Operator (Multiple Shifts)

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting production lines, especially gel pack manufacturing equipment.
• Monitoring line performance, making real-time adjustments, and ensuring output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
• Promoting safety by following procedures and addressing unsafe conditions proactively.
• Providing guidance to team members, supporting teamwork, accountability, and respect.
• Performing preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and maintaining equipment cleanliness and organization.
• Verifying product quality, packaging, labeling, and ensuring compliance with SOPs, flowcharts, and GMP standards.
• Completing production and quality documentation, communicating effectively with supervisors regarding safety, quality, and operational issues.

Qualifications And Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 months experience as an Assistant Machine Operator or relevant background.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly, and support team performance.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Experience with vertical form fill and seal equipment and ERP systems is a plus.
