Machine Operator-Light Assembly/Packout (2nd Shift)

About the role

Aladdin Temp-Rite is seeking career-minded professionals to join their team as a Light Assembly/Pack out Associate on 2nd and 3rd shifts in Hendersonville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Clear molded parts from machines, stack, box, trim, label and record counts from machines.
• Perform light assembly operations to produce sub-assemblies or assemblies using molded plastic and other miscellaneous parts.
• Regrind defective parts or runners, keeping reground material separate by color and type of material.
• Perform simple gauging of molded parts and visual inspection to ensure quality of parts produced.
• Report difficulties to Supervisor or Group Leader.
• Observe safety rules and regulations and maintain housekeeping of area and department.
• Verify carton counts and extend to skid counts.
• At the request of supervision, make out material requisitions for sub-assembly material.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with hands around industrial machines.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and complete repetitive operations.
• Continuous exposure to noise and occasional lifting.

Pay

Start earning $17.50–$19.00/hour with regular increases. Potential to earn $40,000 or more in the first year.

Schedule

Openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts with overtime and occasional Saturdays depending on business demands. Most employees average 37.5–45 hours per week.
