Machine Operator - Level 3 - $3k Sign On Bonus

About the Role
At this level, the associate performs complex duties per standard work, including process changeovers and troubleshooting with minimal guidance. They recognize and solve non-routine problems independently.
Responsibilities
- Complete set-up and operation of machining equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform start-stop procedures, including machine and conveyor start-up, loading raw material, and machine shutdown.
- Perform simple and advanced changes, adjustments, and set-up to tooling and fixtures.
- Complete records and forms; check machined parts visually and dimensionally according to quality standards.
- Clean chips from tooling and parts; recognize and report machine malfunctions and part discrepancies.
- Preset tooling as required; set up parts, processes, and machines.
- Perform daily, semi-annual, and annual machine maintenance.
- Correct problems in set-up, non-conformance, tooling, and machining processes; suggest process improvements.
- Maneuver around machines, including standing, bending, stretching, and walking.
- Repair, replace, and/or modify equipment as needed.
- Operate inspection gages, comparators, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, ring gages, drill/reamers, Johnson gages, Datum gages, magnifiers, and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Identify and correct machining problems related to tools, tool holders, collets, and chucks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 30 months of applicable machining experience (external candidates).
- Fully qualified as a Level 2 Machine Operator (internal candidates).
- Advanced knowledge of metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.
- Proficient in machining, communication, and troubleshooting.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $24.50–$34.30 per hour, with additional compensation through overtime and a 30% shift differential for off-shifts. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is payable after 30 days of active employment, subject to applicable taxes and withholdings.
Schedule
24/7 days (6:00 AM – 6:15 PM).

Working Conditions
