Machine Operator IV (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:55AM - 6:00PM)

About the role

Flexcon is a global, family-owned manufacturer of coated and laminated films and adhesives. We supply products for various industries including packaging, medical devices, automotive, durable labeling, and more. We are currently hiring Machine Operators for our Columbus, NE plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks in support of production operations.
• Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to completed assigned tasks.
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Build productive internal/external working relationships.
• Learn and follow standardized work that has been created within assigned role.
• Promote a safe and quality-driven culture.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system.
• Read and follow written work instructions.
• Have basic math skills.
• Be able to read a ruler and tape measure to measure fractions of an inch.
• Have a high attention to detail.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all environment and safety regulations, including the Company’s environmental and safety policies and procedures.
• Willing to report potential environmental and safety improvements to appropriate supervisory and/or management personnel.
