Machine Operator II 2nd Shift (Onsite - Puerto Rico)

About the role

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, calibrating, and operating machinery used in production processes. Key responsibilities include ensuring equipment operates correctly, inspecting machined operations and finished products, performing routine maintenance, and controlling machine settings.

Responsibilities

• Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models
• Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
• Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines
• Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications
• May make calculations and assist with numeric controlled programming
• Accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods

Requirements

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications
