About the role

The Machine Operator II is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by sorting, grinding, and restocking ground material for reprocessing in the mixing area. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM. This position will train on 1st shift for the first two weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manufacturing process by sorting, grinding, and restocking ground material for reprocessing in the mixing area.
  • Operate grinding equipment to process scrap by material type and color.
  • Collect and manage scrap from up to 49 machines per shift.
  • Complete required inspection and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) reports.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address any quality concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of injection molding machines preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand safety signs and procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position is $17.00/hr plus $.50/shift differential.

Schedule

The schedule is Monday-Thursday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM.
