Machine Operator II (26066)

About the role

As a 5DX Operator at Neotech, you will perform inspection of product run through Automated 5DX x-ray inspection equipment on the SMT line.

Responsibilities

• Verify process compliance to established 5DX programs, including selecting programs, identifying failures called out by the program, and entering defect data into OCuity, as well as data transfer between 5DX and PLR.
• Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling procedures.
• Follow Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on components’ moisture sensitive levels (MSL).
• Verify product compliance to workmanship standards as documented in work instructions.
• Verify integrity of data collected by machinery.
• Communicate defects not captured by equipment to responsible personnel for enhancement of program integrity.
• Communicate to assembly operators defects noted during the 5DX program review.
• Support and follow all ISO standards related to NEOTech's various Quality Management Systems, including quality, environment, health, safety, and security.
• Support all corporate and site 5S objectives.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-6 months of related experience.
• Due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3).

Skills

• Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing systems (OCuity).
• Computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of Automated Optical Inspection equipment and procedures.
• Pass IPC-A-610 Modules 1 and 2.
• Ability to work on single tasks, procedures, or products with highly repetitive or routine duties.
• Ability to support 1-2 product lines or customer(s).
• Normally receives detailed instructions on work and works under close supervision.
