Machine Operator I - Extracts 2nd

Job Duties

• Proficient in all entry-level extract operations and equipment handling.
• Responsible for extract production in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and within defined processing specifications.
• Actively reports safety hazards, recommends corrective actions, and supports completion of action items.
• Consistent and compliant use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Samples extract batches for quality control and verification purposes.
• Accurately logs and reports processing data and quality results.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Maintains knowledge of all extract products and specifications.
• Communicates effectively with the extraction team and other departments (Quality Assurance, Packaging, Warehouse, Maintenance).
• Upholds high performance standards through safe operations and adherence to quality protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a production-related role; (batching, kitchen, or food processing experience preferred).
• General knowledge of extraction technology and equipment.
• Familiarity with extract processing techniques and workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for logging data and operating control systems.
• Flexibility to work across all required shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Works under general supervision with detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Physically capable of traversing staircases, kneeling, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders or elevated platforms.
• Strong initiative and ability to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Solid math and analytical skills for accurate measurements and process adjustments.
