About the role
Operates and monitors machinery and equipment used in manufacturing or production processes. This role requires individuals to follow safety protocols, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain efficiency in operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform packing, assembly, and operate machinery as per instructions.
- Follow work orders, labeling requirements, and productivity standards.
- Conduct quality tests according to ISO procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate basic job-related information and collaborate within the team/department.
- Build productive relationships and contribute to team success.
- Learn and follow company policies, procedures, and processes under direct supervision.
- Train team members when directed by supervisors.
- Uphold and follow company values and standards.
Requirements
- No diploma required; basic math and reading/writing skills are needed.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to maintain productive working relationships in a team-oriented environment.
- Open to receiving guidance, feedback, and constructive instructions from supervisors to ensure adherence to processes and standards.
- Capable of safely operating and handling light to medium machinery, with a focus on precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Pay
$17.50 per hour plus $1 shift differential. $1500 retention bonus after 6 months of employment with Zebra. In addition to base pay, this role offers the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 1:45pm-10pm.
