Responsibilities
- Uses automated equipment to manufacture, assemble, or move parts/kits/products
- Inspects parts/kits/products to ensure accuracy
- Maintains equipment and facilities
- Performs equipment preventative maintenance of specialized and advanced equipment
- Follows International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines in the manufacture of all reagents
- Uses good manufacturing procedures (GMP) and good documentation practices (GDP) in the manufacture of all reagents
- Participates in troubleshooting efforts pertaining to product failures
- Participates in product/process improvement of current products or processes
- Maintains the general cleanliness and organization of work areas using lean processes and 5S
- Operates, maintains, and calibrates basic equipment necessary to perform job functions
- Aids in Supply Management
- Assists in physical inventories as required
- Performs other duties as assigned by your supervisor and/or manager
Qualifications
- High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum tenure of 1 year in the Machine Operator I position is required to be met before consideration for promotion to the next position level: Machine Operator II
