We are currently looking for Finishing Helpers to join our team.

Shift Schedule

• Days, 6am – 6pm, 2-2-3 rotating schedule
• Nights, 6pm – 6am, 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Compensation & Benefits

• $16.00 hourly, with a $1.00/hour shift differential for night shift
• Sign-on Bonus – up to $1,000

• Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary)
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek)
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook and have the ability to learn company specialized software program
• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance

Physical Requirements

• Requires standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear
• Requires frequent walking
• Occasionally requires climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Requires continuous eye concentration
