We are currently looking for Finishing Helpers to join our team.
Shift Schedule
- Days, 6am – 6pm, 2-2-3 rotating schedule
- Nights, 6pm – 6am, 2-2-3 rotating schedule
Compensation & Benefits
- $16.00 hourly, with a $1.00/hour shift differential for night shift
- Sign-on Bonus – up to $1,000

- Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays
Responsibilities
- Continuously checks for print and seam quality
- Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification
- Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary)
- Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them
- Must understand basic printing and seam related defects
- Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek)
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred

- Self-directed individual with outstanding decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook and have the ability to learn company specialized software program
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
Physical Requirements
- Requires standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear
- Requires frequent walking
- Occasionally requires climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Requires continuous eye concentration
