Machine Operator- Grinder

FLC-CITCO Tools is seeking a Surface Grinder Operator to join its team in Concord Twp., Ohio. At Fives, we are driven by a common calling to prove that industry can do it! As part of the Cutting Tools team under the Production Supervisor, you will help make industry an answer to major technological, environmental, social, and economic challenges. The position is located off I‑90 and Auburn Road for an easy commute.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surface grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts.
• Adjust machine settings and grinding wheels to make parts the correct size and smooth finish.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to make quality parts.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Follow all quality control, workplace safety, and production standards.
• Work with steel, carbide, and specialty materials to produce finished components.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• 1 year of manufacturing experience; previous machinist or tooling experience preferred
• Strong shop math capabilities to calculate dimensions & tolerance
• Familiarity with reading Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other documents
• Self‑motivated problem solver with a keen eye for precision
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
