Machine Operator - Floater/Relief - Blue Days (6am-6:30pm)

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, including machine setup, operation, changeovers, and troubleshooting to detect product defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary;
• Maintain GMP standards at and around machinery;
• Follow SOPs for machinery in assigned areas;
• Participate in cross-training or training on equipment as defined by manager;
• Document accurately and maintain accurate document documentation;
• Issue raw materials into assigned work orders;
• Work safely according to company safety rules and regulations;
• Maintain good attendance record per company policy;
• Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred;
• Prior machine operation experience preferred;
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net, Kevlar gloves, safety glasses, and work shoes;
• Basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning;
• Use various hand tools like knives, water houses, band cutters, can openers, scales, Telnet scanners, and small hand tools;
• Previous forklift experience (applicable work areas) and lockout/tagout certification;
