Machine Operator Finishing (Weekdays 6:00AM - 6:00PM)

About the role

We are currently hiring Machine Operators for our Columbus, NE plant. This role supports production operations through various tasks, applying acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned work. You will work on problems of moderate scope, exercising judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action and build productive internal/external relationships. The position requires learning and following standardized work while promoting a safe and quality-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks in support of production operations.
• Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Work on problems of moderate scope, analyzing situations or data to determine appropriate action.
• Learn and follow standardized work created within the assigned role.
• Promote a safe and quality-driven culture.
• Comply with all environmental and safety regulations, including company policies and procedures.
• Report potential environmental and safety improvements to supervisory or management personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP systems.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, basic math skills, and read a ruler/tape measure to measure fractions of an inch.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Commitment to a high standard of safety.

Pay

The expected salary range for this in-person position is $15.84–$26.40 per hour, based on region, experience, and other job-related factors. The posted range reflects a national pay scale, with actual compensation varying by location to ensure fair and competitive pay.

Schedule

Weekday shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:55 AM–6:00 PM.
