Machine Operator / Fine Blanking Operator

About the role

Fine Blanking Operator / Clutch Machine Operator is responsible for producing precision blanked metal components using fine blanking machines.

Responsibilities

• Produces blanked metal parts, free from defects, using a fine blanking machine.
• Inspects parts to ensure quality per customer specifications.
• Maintains dies by lubricating and visually inspecting for defects and proper placement.
• Affords assistance to the maintenance department in performing machine-specific preventive maintenance.
• Operates and maintains coil feeding equipment.
• Performs machine-specific cleaning procedures.
• Maintains daily production data by entering part/lot numbers, production counts, inspection results, etc.
• Provides recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of production experience.
• Two (2) years of technical experience in the unit or similar industry (preferred).
