Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Operator – Shuster to join our manufacturing team in Tempe, Arizona. Our Tempe facility produces high-quality electrical fastening and support solutions that help connect and protect critical infrastructure around the world.

Responsibilities

• Operate Shuster forming machinery to meet daily production schedules and customer requirements.
• Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and equipment adjustments in accordance with production specifications.
• Load raw materials and monitor production runs to ensure efficiency and product quality.
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor machine and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Follow all safety procedures and proactively identify and report potential hazards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities that support operational excellence and waste reduction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, machine operating, metal forming, or production experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures.
• Strong mechanical proficiency and troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Pay

Starting wage of $23.00 per hour, plus a shift differential of up to $2.00 per hour, providing potential earnings of up to $25.00 per hour.
