Job Summary
Operate machines to punch, blank, or bend sheet metal into shapes.
Essential Duties
- Use blueprints to perform quality checks.
- Complete quality and safety paperwork.
- Inspect and oil equipment as needed.
- Turn on and off machine as needed.
- Check safety devices when needed.
- Maintain good housekeeping (5s).
- Identify differences and inconsistencies in parts or operation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to identify differences and inconsistencies in parts or operation (required)
- Ability to read blueprints (required)
- Machine operating experience (preferred)
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Must have a good attendance record
